Smart Bahi Khata (the “App”) is a ledger and financial management tool provided by [SmartBahiKhata]. By using the App, you signify your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

The App provides digital ledger services for various roles, including but not limited to:

  • Personal: Expense and bill tracking.
  • Shopkeeper: Customer ledger and udhaar management.
  • Financer: Loan disbursement, EMI calculation, and repayment tracking.
  • Contractor/Transporter: Project and trip management.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information (Name, Phone Number, Email) during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Any activity under your account is your sole responsibility.

4. Financial Data & Calculations

  • Digital Record Only: The App is a digital tool for recording transactions. It does not provide actual financial services, banking, or money lending.
  • Accuracy: While we strive for 100% accuracy in interest and EMI calculations, users are advised to verify calculations manually before making financial decisions.
  • No Liability: Smart Bahi Khata is not responsible for any financial losses, disputes between lenders and borrowers, or errors in data entry.

5. WhatsApp & Communication

  • The App uses WhatsApp integration to send reminders.
  • By using this feature, you agree to comply with WhatsApp’s Terms of Service.
  • You are responsible for the content of the messages sent through your device.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal financial activities or money laundering.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
  • Provide false or misleading financial records.

7. Data Storage & Security

  • We use Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) for secure data storage.
  • While we implement industry-standard security, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

8. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Bahi Khata and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.
